Position: Territory Sales Representative

TriMark Marlinn, located in Bedford Park, IL, is a division of TriMark USA, one of the country’s largest providers of supplies, equipment and design services to the foodservice industry.

The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for achieving and exceeding territory sales goals, developing new business, and maintaining excellent customer relations.  Compensation includes and established salary during a training period, followed by salary plus commission.

Essential duties include:

  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals through consultative selling, relationship building, cold calls and referrals
  • Place orders directly through our order entry system
  • Work with the Credit & Accounts Receivable Department to maintain customers’ account balances as current and assist in collections when needed
  • Develop product knowledge and expertise to advise foodservice professionals about their supply and equipment needs

  • Willingness to become a student of the foodservice industry through training and ongoing education
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with conflicting demands
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to negotiate and strong problem-solving skills
Required knowledge and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
