Position: Contract Sales/Customer Service Representative

The contract sales department is responsible for providing turn-key commercial foodservice solutions to TriMark SS Kemp customers, primarily with healthcare and institutional organizations.  The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative will work closely with contract sales field sales representatives in entering project (job) orders and providing quotes; deliver exceptional inside sales and customer service experiences to customers; project/contract management.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
-        Provide high-touch, excellent, and professional customer service to external and internal customers
-        Accurately produce complex quotes
-        Communicate and coordinate with internal and external resources needed to deliver orders/products on                   managed timelines and with accuracy
-        Manage, organize, and maintain accurate customer records, activities, and contacts
-        Work with customers to identify and present solutions for specific needs in a timely manner in collaboration          with sales rep.
-        Enter and track purchase orders
-        Create project manuals
-        Process customer credits and returns and expediting of shipments
-        Address any pricing and billing issues in a timely fashion
-        Quote from blueprint as needed.
-        Insure all required job setup paperwork received from sales reps is accurate and complete
-        Coordinate installation/delivery of job orders
-        Enter all change orders on job; Insure sales reps receive sign off on all change orders before entering
-        Reconcile jobs in timely manner upon 30 days of substantial completion
-        Assist sales/project managers on punch list as needed
-        Review backorder reports on regular basis
-        Remain current on customer needs, preferences, changes and product developments by attending sales                meetings, vendor training and trade shows, or reading trade journals
-        Conduct oneself in a professional manner that encourages support and collaboration within a team sales                environment
-        Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Essential Education:
-        High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education:
-        Bachelor’s degree
-        Completion of or credits toward CFSP certification

Essential Experience:
-        Minimum 3 years in distribution or inside sales with direct customer contact
-        Demonstrated success thinking critically and following through on priorities and activities
-        Demonstrated success working across multiple computer platforms in a fast-pace environment

Preferred Experience:
-        5+ years inside sales/customer service
-        Experience in foodservice sales and distribution
-        Corporate contract sales experience
-        Inside project management experience
-        Construction experience
-        Experience using AS400 or similar “green screen” program utilizing function for navigation
