Position: Director of Finance and Accounting

Position Summary/Objective

TriMark USA is the country's largest provider of equipment, supplies and design services to the foodservice industry reaching over one billion in revenue, private equity owned, 1,800 employees, with corporate headquarters located in South Attleboro, Massachusetts.  TriMark continues to expand its geographic reach through add-on acquisitions and organic growth.

In this role, reporting to the Director of Accounting and Finance, the individual will be primarily responsible for the Company’s monthly financial closing, annual audit process, assist with lender relationships, partner with the CFO and Director of Accounting and Finance on merger & acquisition analysis, due diligence and integration, be heavily involved in a new ERP group wide software implementation and other financial matters as needed. Manage accounting staff, projects, and assignments.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Monthly financial closing and consolidation
  • Monthly review of division financial results
  • Interaction with Division Controllers as needed
  • Annual review of division audit packages
  • Merger & Acquisition accounting
  • Accounting software conversion & implementation collaboration
  • Familiarity with Federal and State, Current and Deferred tax accruals helpful
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned
  • Travel required

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or Master’s Degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 12-15 years of accounting experience in both the public and private sector, with 3-5 of those years in public accounting.  Practical, hands on merger and acquisition experience preferred.
  • Experience in distribution industry helpful.
