Position: Data Entry Specialist
The Data Entry Specialist will monitor Auto Quotes for manufacturer price increases, prepare contract modification paperwork and pricing justification, and notify sales staff and contracting personnel when modifications have been approved.
The Data Entry Specialist will maintain GSA Advantage!, DOD E-Mall, AFNAF NafWerks and any other government agency websites as needed.
The Data Entry Specialist will also back up the Contract Assistant II as needed.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Prepares contract modification paperwork and pricing justification for submittal to government agencies and notifies sales and contracting personnel when modifications have been approved
Tracks and analyzes competitive pricing and generates reports uploads pricing to appropriate government websites
Tracks competitor pricing and items and prepares letters of notification of contract non-compliance
Maintains “contract support” information on the Gill Marketing intranet
Competencies, Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Office; very strong excel skills required to generate reports, manipulate and analyze data
Must be well organized, detail oriented and produce an accurate end product
Possess outstanding written and verbal skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, management and Federal Government Employees
Must be self-motivated, able to work under stressful conditions and prioritize to meet deadlines
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
5 years experience in clerical or data entry in a professional corporate setting
Knowledge of Auto Quotes helpful
