TriMark Marlinn Executes Eight Restaurant Concepts at O’Hare International Airport

TriMark Marlinn completed four free-standing restaurants, four food court concepts and a main kitchen at O’Hare International Airport Terminal # 5 within the space of one year. This foodservice project was part of a $26 million overhaul of the international terminal, the first major upgrade since it was built 20 years ago.

Project Highlights

  • Free-standing restaurants include Tortas Frontera; Big Bowl; Intelligentsia coffee; and Tocco Pizza
  • Food court concepts include Wow Bao; Urban Olive; RJ Grunt’s; HUB 51; Big Bowl; and a main kitchen to support the food court
  • Navigating equipment through airport security; overseeing subcontractors and scheduling work and deliveries during off-peak traveling hours
  • Managing quotes, contracts, purchase orders, shipping, delivery dates, installation, value engineering, and smallwares
